Biacore SPR (Surface Plasmon Resonance) Analysis

Biacore SPR (Surface Plasmon Resonance) Analysis

Biopharma Structure Characterization

Product Overview

Overview: SPR (Surface Plasmon Resonance) refers to the resonance phenomenon that may occur when light undergoes total internal reflection on the surface of a prism or metal film, forming an evanescent wave that enters a less optically dense medium. Meanwhile, a certain amount of plasma wave exists within the medium (assuming a precious metal). Based on the principle of energy conservation, these two wavebands may meet. It is widely used in affinity kinetics, screening and sequencing, epitope analysis, activity concentration, and potency determination, and is an ideal method for real-time, label-free analysis of active molecular interactions. It is widely applied to detect interactions between various proteins, peptides, polysaccharides, small molecules, nucleic acids, lipids, liposomes, biological membranes, cells, and microorganisms.
